Updated: May 31, 2020

Home Radon Pros is proud to announce that we will be attending the 2018 Peters Township Community Day, on June 30th at Peters Wood Park! What is even more exciting, is that we will be giving away a large tundra YETI cooler! All you have to do is enter your name into our drawing for a chance to win. Our radon professionals will also be available at our booth, ready to answer any radon questions you may have. We will also have radon literature for further reading, and radon fans and radon tests for demonstration so that you can see and learn how they work. So while you and your family are out enjoying the community activities, stop by to learn more about the deadly gas that is affecting the safety of the loved ones in your home.

Homes in Peters Township have an average radon level of 4.5 pCi/L. This is .5 over the recommended EPA recommended level of 4.0, or the equivalent to 10 cigarettes a day! Only 1,755 homes in Peters Township were tested last year. Of those tests, the highest reading in a home was 109.8 pCi/l! At our booth, our radon professionals will talk you through the steps of how you can have your home tested for radon, and let you know just how easy radon testing is.

Have you had your home tested for radon in the past? That’s a great first step, but testing your home once is not enough to ensure your home’s radon levels are safe. Many factors can impact the reading of your test, and over time, your radon levels can increase. The EPA recommends you test your home twice a year, so if you haven’t had your home tested within the last 6 months, it may be time to test again. Our professionals will walk you through what can impact your radon test results, and what can be done to reduce radon levels in your home.

Do you have questions on how radon can be removed from your home? Our radon professionals will go over the different types of mitigation actions that can be taken to your home to ensure the safety of you and your family.

So before you and your family get ready to sit down and watch the fireworks, make sure to stop by the Home Radon Pros booth and learn how your family may be affected by the dangerous gas that is radon. However, don’t let this scare you, Home Radon Pros will go over how easy it is to have your home tested for radon, and how it can be removed from your home. Our mission is to educate the families of our local communities on the dangers of radon gas, and help them stay safe. And don’t forget to fill out a raffle ticket to win a tundra YETI cooler! We at Home Radon Pros look forward to seeing you at community day on June 30th, and are passionate about helping Peters Township breathe safer.
